Pricing model, not fake SaaS math

Pay for control, placement, proof, and verified capacity.

TaskQ is not a house-account model reseller. The customer owns upstream provider spend. TaskQ charges for the sovereign execution control plane: policy, placement, HashIQ evidence, audit retention, private workers, and verified capacity access.

Plans

Three buying motions. One proof layer.

Exact rates can wait until beta capacity, retention, and compliance scope are known. The commercial architecture should be clear now.

Revenue legs

Separate the spend from the control plane.

TaskQ should be transparent about where money goes. That transparency is part of the trust story.

Proof-backed billing

Every dollar movement maps to a chain entry.

If a request was charged, there should be a request ID, placement proof, worker lease, usage record, and settlement journal. If execution was blocked by policy, that refusal can also be recorded.

Add-ons

Where pricing gets serious.

The high-value commercial surface is not a per-token markup. It is controlled execution for buyers that need evidence.

RETENTION

Proof windows

30, 90, 365-day, or long-term chain retention and export commitments.

CUSTODY

Key domains

Canada-only, EU-only, customer-owned, pinned, enclave, or private HSM integrations.

CAPACITY

Private workers

Dedicated worker pools, queue slots, local inference, private artifact storage.

ASSURANCE

Audit scope

Report packs, anchor witnesses, replay tooling, evidence bundles, regulated buyer support.

What not to do

Do not sell cheap tokens. Sell provable control.

Avoid — house-account arbitrage

It creates platform risk and destroys the trust story. BYOK keeps the provider relationship with the customer.

Avoid — fake compliance bundles

TaskQ should provide controls and evidence, not pretend to make a buyer compliant by magic.

Avoid — opaque routing fees

The placement fee is strongest when the customer can verify why the route was selected.

Price the proof layer correctly.

Tell us your provider, jurisdiction, custody, retention, and private worker requirements. We will scope the control plane around the evidence you need.
